CDPHP has a designated specialty care network to handle covered organ transplants and related services as needed by our members. Facilities are included in the transplant network only if they have had a proven success record, meet our quality of care standards, and contractually agree to participate with CDPHP for these services. Included in the designated specialty network are United Resource Network Transplant Centers of Excellence and Pediatric Transplant Centers of Excellence, nationwide. Organ transplant services must be precertified by calling the CDPHP utilization management department. Refer to your member contract for details.
