High-Tech Radiology Notification Program

CDPHP® requires its participating physicians to file prior notification with MedSolutions for all outpatient high-tech imaging studies.

  • The program will not result in denials of coverage based on clinical review. MedSolutions will redirect cases to CDPHP if contractual benefit review is appropriate.
  • Claims for high-tech imaging services will be denied if MedSolutions does not receive notification from the office of the ordering physician or the servicing provider.
  • The program does not apply to inpatient, observation stay, or emergency department studies.

How to Submit Notification
Provider offices may choose from three different methods for reaching MedSolutions:

  • Their web portal is available 24/7. A simple login procedure is required upon the first visit.
  • Telephone notifications are welcomed between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. at 1-888-693-3211.
  • Faxes may be sent to 1-888-693-3210. Please use the study- and site-specific fax forms that are available by logging in at www.medsolutionsonline.com or calling MedSolutions.
