Medicare Training and Compensation
New Group Medicare Training/Compensation Standards
Per CMS regulations, CDPHP® is implementing new training standards for all Medicare brokers and agents. Your compensation for sales of all group HMO and PPO products within the CDPHP Group Medicare Choices platform depends upon successful completion of this training on an annual basis.
To fulfill this requirement, you must successfully complete the CDPHP Group Medicare Advantage Certification test each year. Even within an agency, all producers must be individually certified in order to discuss Group Medicare benefits and rates with health benefit administrators and/or employer group Medicare beneficiaries. Only brokers and agents who have successfully completed this test can sell CDPHP Group Medicare Choices products.
