Coast-to-Coast Coverage

  • In 2010, most CDPHP Universal Benefits, Inc. plans will include national network access as a base benefit. Members will have access to more than half a million providers across the U.S. In addition, Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc. will offer a travel rider to extend national coverage to HMO members.1

Seasonal Flu and H1N1 Vaccines Covered

  • CDPHP provides full coverage of both the seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccines. No prior authorization or copayment is required. CDPHP will reimburse both participating and non-participating providers at its participating provider fee schedule for the administration of the H1N1 vaccine. CDPHP continues to follow the recommendations of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as well as local guidelines within our service area.  We suggest employers take all necessary precautions to keep their employees and businesses healthy.

Young Adult Through Age 29 Law

  • A new young adult through age 29 law is taking effect upon contract renewals September 1, 2009 or later. Learn more about the law at the New York State Insurance Department Web site.
