Medicare Certification Test

About the Test

• You must certify annually.
• There are 30 questions pertaining to our benefits and CMS compliance regulations.
• You must provide identification, including your name and NYS license number and expiration date.
• Successful completion is defined as a score of 90 percent or higher.

Note: There is a separate process to certify for Individual CDPHP Medicare Advantage products. The requirements are not interchangeable.

Preparing for the Test

You, as CDPHP brokers and agents, must demonstrate a clear understanding of all guidance, compliance, and product information pertaining to Medicare Advantage (Part C) and prescription drug (Part D) programs set forth by CMS. We compiled a variety of reference materials below that we strongly recommend you review before taking the test, as well as the Know About Medicare section on left.

Only brokers and agents who have successfully completed this test can sell, renew and receive commission on CDPHP Group Medicare Choices products.

When you have successfully passed the test, you will receive a certificate via email.  Please allow 3 business days for processing.
