CDPHP® Announces Lisa Sasko Selected for The Business Review's "40 Under Forty"

ALBANY, N.Y. – February 24, 2012 – CDPHP® is pleased to announce the selection of Lisa Sasko, director of clinical transformation, as an honoree in The Business Review’s “40 Under Forty” class of 2012. Lisa was chosen by The Business Review’s advisory board from over 500 nominations based on her career accomplishments and focus on success.

“We are extremely proud and excited Lisa Sasko has been selected for this prestigious award,” said Dr. John Bennett, president and CEO of CDPHP. “Lisa is an energetic leader who is well-respected in the health care community, and has been tasked with one of the most vital missions in the company’s history; to provide greater access to affordable, high-quality health care,” added Bennett.

Lisa joined CDPHP in April 2009. She was brought to the organization to lead the CDPHP Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) initiative, which was designed to transform the field of primary care, leading to better health outcomes for patients. Lisa’s commitment to the EPC initiative has greatly contributed to the program’s success. Since its inception, 73 local physician practices, encompassing more than 100,000 CDPHP members and 384 network physicians have worked diligently to reform their practices.

Prior to joining CDPHP, Lisa served as associate director for Navigant Consulting in Chicago, Illinois, where she focused on health care strategy. Her larger projects included the restructuring of Wake Forest Health Systems in North Carolina, and refining the mission and vision for Dartmouth Medical School. From 2002 to 2006, Lisa was the senior project manager for Partners HealthCare in Boston, MA, where she researched, designed, and implemented initiatives to improve patient care and increase physician effectiveness.

Lisa earned her executive MBA from Northeastern University with Beta Gamma Sigma Honors distinction. She holds a second master’s degree in clinical behavioral psychology from the University of Massachusetts. Lisa lives in Saratoga Springs with her husband, Jim Sasko, and their two young daughters (ages two and three).
