Preventive Care
We encourage members to take advantage of a comprehensive range of preventive health benefits, including an annual adult physical, annual gynecological/well-women exams, mammograms, cervical cytology screenings, prostate cancer screenings, well-child exams, and essential childhood and adult immunizations.
Preventive health checkups are available at no charge to members of all CDPHP government programs and commercial group plans, including HMO, EPO, PPO and High Deductible plans. Please check your member benefits materials for detailed information on these benefits.

Seasonal Flu Resources
The flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death. The best way to prevent the flu is by getting a flu vaccination each year. Check with your health care provider about receiving an annual flu vaccine.
