United Behavioral Health (UBH) offers CDPHP members* personal assistance and a variety of online resources for behavioral health issues. Our relationship with UBH gives members an integrated process for seeking advice and care.

Members can call UBH toll-free at 1-888-320-9584. The line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Callers will be immediately connected to an experienced behavioral health specialist.

What is Behavioral Health?

Behavioral health is an umbrella term that includes psychiatric care and mental health as well as the treatment of chemical dependency, including alcohol and substance abuse.

What is UBH?

UBH is a national network of behavioral health providers that was founded in 1979. It includes psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, clinical social workers, and substance abuse counselors. You are welcome to do a clinician search to learn which local practitioners are allied with this large national network.

The following types of services are available through UBH, as needed to help eligible members cope with mental health, emotional, and chemical dependency issues:

Accessing Behavioral Health Benefits

Members ID cards are imprinted with the toll-free UBH number (1-888-320-9584). The line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Callers will be immediately connected to an experienced behavioral health specialist who will advise them in locating the appropriate resources.

*Eligible CDPHP members of the following plan types: HMO, PPO, High Deductible PPO, EPO, POS, Non Group, Medicare Choice, Select Plan (managed Medicaid), Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, Self-insured groups except those that have chosen another vendor to supply behavioral health services.
