CDPHP and MSSNY PRESENT eFORUM 2010

ALBANY, NY -- CDPHP and the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) present eForum 2010: Deciphering the Meaning of “Meaningful Use” and Enhancing the Value of Health Care Delivery
 
More than 100 medical professionals will attend to hear renowned industry speakers address the following key issues from national, state, and local perspectives:
 
• What physicians need to know and do now in order to be eligible to tap into the $19 billion meaningful use incentives from the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act.
 
• Hear first-hand accounts from practices involved in the CDPHP medical home pilot how the concept can improve the quality of patient care while enhancing primary care physicians’ income.
 
MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT AT 10:15 A.M.:
• As the only medical home project within the Capital District, CDPHP will announce an expansion to its current pilot which has the potential to encompass 100 area practitioners serving nearly 100K members in our region.
 
PHYSICIANS TO BE HONORED:
• At the eForum luncheon at 12:30 p.m., CDPHP will also take an opportunity to honor the 2009 CDPHP Physicians’ Academy recipients: Dr. Jeffrey Daly, Four Winds Psychiatric Services, and Dr. Eric Spooner, Capital District Pediatric Cardiology Associates.
