As a psychiatrist and the medical director of the child and adolescent outpatient services program at Four Winds Hospital in Saratoga Springs, Dr. Jeffrey M. Daly has devoted his career to improving the quality of psychiatric physician education, patient access, and community services to those in need, especially children and adolescents.
In 2007, Jeff collaborated with CDPHP to develop the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Education and Support (CAPES) program. The program, funded in part by a grant from the New York State Department of Health, is an evidence-based training curriculum exclusively for primary care physicians. It is offered free of charge for physicians, and participants receive CME credits, as well as direct access to consultative services with a child and adolescent psychiatrist. Jeff has been working diligently to extend this unique program to physicians statewide.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Fairfield University in Connecticut and a medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He completed his residency in general psychiatry at Brown University, Rhode Island, and held a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Harvard University/Massachusetts General and McLean Hospitals.
