CDPHP^® and MSSNY e-Forum 2008: Physicians Taking Health Information Technology (HIT) to the Next Level

On Saturday, January 19, CDPHP and MSSNY hosted e-Forum 2008: Physicians Taking Health Information Technology (HIT) to the Next Level, an interactive, state-of-the-art technology conference. Designed to further facilitate electronic medical records (EMR) implementation with solo and small practice physicians, the conference featured a variety of local and regional speakers.

More than 150 medical and business professionals attended the conference, and heard plans by CDPHP to invest $1 million in an EMR initiative for small and solo practitioners. MSSNY also discussed a pilot collaborative for the Capital Region that will facilitate transmission of health information through these interoperative technologies.
