Special Delivery and Support
CDPHP is now working together with Caremark Specialty Pharmacy Services to supply certain high-cost biotech and injectable drugs to our members who need them (see chart below).
Caremark Specialty Pharmacy ensures convenient, express delivery and provides the supplies needed to administer the drug. Their health care professionals are available around the clock to provide telephone guidance and support. As an added convenience, beginning June 1, 2009, most specialty medications can be picked up at CVS/Pharmacy locations.
