at your serviceCDPHP has garnered numerous awards for excellence over the years, but we were especially proud that the J.D. Power 2017 Member Health Plan Study ranked CDPHP the "Highest in Member Satisfaction among Commercial Health Plans in New York".* The study evaluated customer satisfaction in terms of coverage and benefits, provider choice, information and communication, claims processing, cost, and customer service.

In 2017, we were also recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)** for our efforts to meet national benchmarks for care quality and service. All of our plans earned a 4.5 out of 5 rating.

As a non-profit health plan, CDPHP strives to deliver value to its stakeholders, and we take seriously our obligation to be a responsible steward of the resources entrusted to us. To that end, we have traditionally maintained a slim operating margin, allocating the bulk of our premium income to payment of medical claims, maintaining required reserve funds, and funding innovative programs designed to promote members’ health and control costs. This is the ninth consecutive year that CDPHP has been so honored based on our workplace policies, practices, and systems, as well as the results of a survey, open to all staff members, that measures employee engagement.

**National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations and recognizes clinicians in key clinical areas.
