Mary Jane Bendon Couch joined CDPHP in 2006 and currently serves as executive vice president, legal affairs and general counsel. In this role, Mary Jane focuses on strategic relationships, SaaS and additional vendor agreements, regulatory compliance matters, employment issues, HIPAA, confidentiality issues, and more.
Prior to joining CDPHP, Mary Jane served as general counsel for St. Clare's Hospital and was a former partner with Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP.
Mary Jane holds a Juris Doctor from Albany Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Siena College. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, Forum Committee on Health Law, and the New York State Bar Association. She also currently serves on the boards of the Alliance for Positive Health and the Susan Odell Taylor School.
