Neil Brandmaier

Senior Vice President, Information Technology and Chief Information Officer

As CIO, Neil Brandmaier is building the digital enterprise leveraging public cloud computing and an ecosystem of vendor partners. The IT team is re-architecting and modernizing legacy systems, shifting from B2B to B2C with personalization, enabling new risk sharing pricing models, supporting new healthcare delivery capabilities and improving CDPHP’s ability to manage medical expenses and population health. Brandmaier joined CDPHP in 2012.

Prior to joining CDPHP, Brandmaier was at XL Group and led an organization in 26 countries providing IT infrastructure, ERP systems, business continuity, and vendor management/procurement. He developed and implemented a global transformation strategy that reduced expenses by 30 percent to create capacity for business projects, extended service levels globally to 7x24, standardized business processes, and enhanced productivity through IT innovation.

Prior to XL, Brandmaier was with SIAC, an IT shared services organization owned by the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the American Stock Exchange (Amex). He has held numerous positions, including managing the $80 million relationship with the Amex and leading the post-merger integration of the NYSE and Archipelago IT organizations. He played a key role in recovering the NYSE and the Amex during 9/11 to restore equity and options trading in the U.S.

Brandmaier earned Master of Science degree in Management of Technology from NYU Polytechnic University of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University.
