Pre-Existing Health Conditions
Insurers are prohibited from charging more or denying coverage to anyone based on the state of their health.
Pre-existing conditions are medical conditions or other health issues that existed before your enrollment in a health plan. Examples include chronic conditions such as asthma and heart disease and short-term conditions such as a back injury or pregnancy.
CDPHP considers the health of our community to be a top priority and already covers pre-existing conditions.
