CDPHP Individual Medicare Advantage members get up to $50 per quarter to spend on CVS Health brand over-the-counter (OTC) supplies through CVS OTC Health Solutions.

  • First aid and medical supplies

  • Eye, ear, and dental care

How it works

Use your benefit in three easy and convenient ways:

  • Online. Create an account When you click this link, you will leave the CDPHP Medicare website. online to view the catalog, order online, check your balance, and more.

  • By phone. Choose items from the catalog and call 1-888-628-2770 to order.

  • In person. Visit any free-standing, CVS OTCHS-participating location. Look for blue labels identifying CVS Health brand eligible products. Products with blue labels may be located in the dedicated OTCHS section or throughout the aisles in the store. Not all items may be available through your plan. The OTC benefit is not available at CVS pharmacies located in Target stores or at any other retailer.

What is an over-the-counter (OTC) benefit?

The over-the-counter benefit allows you to purchase up to $50 worth of select CVS Health brand non-prescription health and wellness items per quarter at no-cost to you. Simply choose items from the catalog and order online, over the phone, or visit a free-standing CVS location to purchase select items in store. How much is my OTC benefit?

You have up to $50 per quarter to spend on CVS Health brand. Unused funds do not roll over or accumulate. Amounts can differ by plan, so please check your Summary of Benefits or Evidence of Coverage (EOC) to see how much you have to spend.

How often can I use my benefit?

You can use your benefit as many times as you would like until your quarterly benefit amount runs out.

What if I don’t spend my entire quarterly benefit amount? Does the money roll over to the next quarter?

Unused dollars do not roll over from one quarter to the next.

Can I order more than my quarterly benefit amount worth of items?

You can purchase more than your quarterly benefit amount in the store and pay the difference at the register. When ordering online or on the phone, you may not spend more than your quarterly benefit amount. When ordering online, you will not see items that exceed your available balance.

Is there a limit on the number of items I buy?

There is no limit to the number of items you may order. There is, however, a quantity limit of 9 per any single item per quarter. There are some products that have special limits and those are marked with ★ or ■ in the catalog.

How long will it take to receive my order?

You will receive your order within 14 days after it was placed.

How can I track the status of my order?

You can track your order by logging in to your OTC Health Solutions online account, by calling OTC Health Solutions, or by optional text message alerts.

Is there a return policy?

Due to the personal nature of the products, no returns or exchanges are allowed. If you haven’t received your order or if you received a damaged or defective item, please call OTC Health Solutions at 1-888-628-2770 (TTY: 711) within 30 days of placing your order to request a replacement item.

CDPHP Medicare Advantage is an HMO and PPO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in CDPHP Medicare Advantage depends on contract renewal.
