CDPHP Individual Medicare Advantage HMO plan members get $50 per quarter to spend on over-the-counter supplies through CVS OTC Health Solutions.

Starting in 2021, you can create an account online to order products, check your balance, track orders, and more. You’ll also be able to purchase items over the phone and in-person at CVS retail stores.

What is an over-the-counter (OTC) benefit?

The over-the-counter benefit allows you to purchase $50 worth of non-prescription health and wellness items per quarter at no-cost to you. Simply choose items from the catalog and order online, over the phone, or visit a free-standing CVS location to purchase select items in store. Call 1-888-628-2770 to order over the phone.

How much is my OTC benefit?

You have $50 per quarter to spend. Unused funds do not roll over or accumulate. To get the most from this benefit, you should spend your $50 every quarter.

How often can I use my benefit?

You can use your benefit as many times as you would like until your $50 runs out.

What if I don’t spend the whole $50? Does the money roll over to the next quarter?

Unused dollars do not roll over from one quarter to the next.

Can I order more than $50 worth of items?

You can purchase more than $50 worth of items in the store and pay the difference at the register. When ordering online or on the phone, you may not spend more than $50. When ordering online, you will not see items that exceed your available balance.

Is there a limit on the number of items I buy?

There is no limit to the number of items you may order. There is, however, a quantity limit of 9 per any single item per quarter. There are some products that have special limits and those are marked with ★ or ■ in the catalog.

How long will it take to receive my order?

You will receive your order within 14 days after it was placed.

How can I track the status of my order?

You can track your order by logging in to your OTC Health Solutions online account, by calling OTC Health Solutions, or by optional text message alerts.

Is there a return policy?

Due to the personal nature of the products, no returns or exchanges are allowed. If you haven’t received your order or if you received a damaged or defective item, please call OTC Health Solutions at 1-888-628-2770 (TTY: 711) within 30 days of placing your order to request a replacement item.

CDPHP Medicare Advantage is an HMO and PPO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in CDPHP Medicare Advantage depends on contract renewal.
