When deciding on a plan, make sure you know the fundamental differences between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage and what each program covers.
What Medicare Covers
Original Medicare offers Part A (hospital insurance for inpatient and skilled nursing facility stays and hospice care) and Part B (medical insurance for doctors’ services, outpatient care, medical supplies, and preventive services).
What is a Medicare Advantage Plan?
A Medicare Advantage plan, or Part C, offered through CDPHP replaces Original Medicare and covers additional services like annual physicals, dental, and vision services, and may help pay for deductibles and coinsurances not covered by Part A and Part B. Plus, a Medicare Advantage plan through CDPHP offers wellness benefits and services not available through Original Medicare.
CDPHP® Medicare Choices plans provide comprehensive medical coverage with or without prescription drug coverage, as well as benefits and programs that help keep you healthy and living life to the fullest.
