Wellness Classes & Programs

Registering for wellness classes has never been easier!

To sign up for a class, click the Enroll/Modify button and log in to your CDPHP member account. If you don’t have an account yet, click Register. Once you are signed in, click Enroll and select which family members* you’d like to register for the class. Click Submit, followed by OK to update your enrollment status to Confirmed. Please check your My Account page to ensure that your contact information is up to date to receive class confirmation and reminders.

African Dance

Explore African culture with this high energy dance class accompanied by live drumming! Children accompanied by an adult are welcome. Classes are held every Tuesday, from 6-7 p.m. (Stretching starts at 5:30 p.m.). These are walk-in classes, registration is not required. You do not need to be a CDPHP member to attend. Classes will be held in the Community Room or Atrium, within the Albany Housing Authority. Participants must enter at rear of building.

Family Yoga

Family yoga begins with tuning in, followed by fun, playful, and meditative practices that include postures, partners poses, and group poses. This class is for adults accompanied by children ages 3-10. All children must be accompanied by a guardian, no more than two children per adult.

Prenatal Yoga

This class, held in a normal temperature room, is a gentle way for mommys-to-be to work out & connect with their bodies and babies. It is important to stay in shape and flexible while pregnant so this class is the perfect option. Prenatal yoga is a terrific way to prepare yourself for childbirth, to connect with your body and baby as each changes during this time, and to enjoy the company of other pregnant women. This is a two-part program.
