Coast-to-coast Coverage

Many CDPHP plans include our expansive national network* of more than 1 million doctors, nurses, and specialists across the country, giving your student access to superior health care coverage virtually anywhere in the United States.

Worldwide Emergency Care

CDPHP members are covered worldwide for emergency care**. In a time of crisis, your student can call 9-1-1 immediately (in the United States; 1-1-2 in many other countries) or head to the nearest emergency room instead of making sure a hospital is in our network.

My CDPHP Mobile App

With the My CDPHP Mobile app, your student can access their member ID card, track their benefits, learn about valuable programs, and more right from their smartphone.

Doctor on Demand

All CDPHP plans include live video doctor visits 24/7 for physical and mental health with Doctor On Demand. Students can get the care they need using their smartphone or tablet without leaving their dorm room.

Valera Health

Your student can access mental health services and support through from their smartphone or computer with Valera Health. Manage anxiety and depression, receive medications, learn tips for building healthy habits, and more.

MinuteClinic

With more than 1,100 locations in CVS Pharmacies and Target stores in 33 states, MinuteClinic provides treatment for more than 125 illnesses and injuries. For added convenience, your student receive treatment and pick up a prescription in one place. Find a location near you.

We’re Always Here

Our team of nurses and mental health experts are on call 24/7. If your student needs to speak with a member of our team after business hours, he or she should call the number on their member ID card and stay on the line to be connected with our after-hours staff. We also offer mental health support through our 24-hour crisis hotline at 1-888-320-9584.

*The national network is provided by CDPHP Universal Benefits,^® Inc. The national network does not extend to members of the Federal Employees Health Benefit Plan, some self-funded groups, or Medicare Advantage PPO plans. Members of the HMO plan, which is insured by Capital District Physicians' Health Plan, Inc. (CDPHP^®), are also not eligible for the national network.

**CDPHP Medicaid members are covered for urgent and emergency care throughout the United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa.
