Local Charities Win Big
Each year, the race serves as an important fundraiser for two local charities, designated the race’s charities of choice. This year’s event raised a record $45,000 for the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York and the Albany Public Library Foundation.

General Electric is Top Fundraising Team!
Congratulations to the folks at General Electric (GE), winners of this year’s fundraising challenge. With 268 participants, GE was not only one of the largest teams at the CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge, it also raised the most money for this year’s charities.

Clynk Cleans Up and Gives Back
Drop-and-go recycling service Clynk was proud to provide on-site recycling services for the race. With thousands of water bottles consumed before and after the race, Clynk was instrumental in helping organizers clean-up after the event. In addition, Clynk generously donated all proceeds from the recyclables back to the race’s charities of choice.

Capital Cardiology Provides On-Site Blood Pressure Screenings
The staff at Capital Cardiology provided blood pressure screenings for runners before and after the 3.5 mile race, a valuable service for those who participated. Capital Cardiology also generously donated $8,000 to this year’s charities of choice.
