Go the Extra Mile: Register Today for the 2020 CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge!

ALBANY, N.Y. – February 26, 2020 – Registration is now open for the Capital Region’s largest annual road race. The CDPHP® Workforce Team Challenge is set for Thursday, May 21 at the Empire State Plaza. The race consistently maxes out at 10,000 runners, so it’s important to register early!

Local not-for-profits IPH (Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless), The RED Bookshelf, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region will receive important funds from this year’s race. Teams and individuals are encouraged to make contributions at the time of registration. Last year’s total was nearly $50,000!

Are You Up to the (Fundraising) Challenge?

Teams are encouraged to participate in a pre-race fundraising challenge. The team that raises the most funds for the Charities of Choice will receive special race-day recognition, an on-air interview with media sponsor B95.5, company logo on the race website, and mentions in the race-day press release and social media posts.

The CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge is organized by and serves as a significant fundraiser for the Hudson-Mohawk Road Runners Club (HMRRC). In addition to raising funds for local charities, the race also helps to fund HMRRCs college scholarships, grants, and free race programs for local youth.
