CDTA Opens Doors to On-Site Employee Health Center

CDTA Health Center, Powered by CDPHP, Is First of Its Kind for Employees

ALBANY, N.Y. – October 13, 2020 – CDTA employees have a new way to the see the doctor. Go to work! CDTA has opened the doors to the CDTA Health Center, powered by CDPHP, which will provide employees with a convenient option to keep up on their health and wellness.

“This is an exciting step forward for CDTA,” said Carm Basile, CDTA CEO. “Offering our work force a one-stop shop for their health needs and concerns not only helps to give the employee more control over their own health, but also helps CDTA to manage costs and increase productivity.”

The CDTA Health Center, powered by CDPHP, will provide employees with a convenient option to keep up on their health and wellness. The center will offer employment-based physicals and screenings, treatment for minor illness and injury, health counseling, flu shots, and more!

“It is widely recognize that a strong, healthy workforce is more productive, has a higher rates of employee satisfaction, and lower absenteeism,” said Dr. John Bennett, CDPHP President and CEO. “The CDTA Health Center, powered by CDPHP, will improve employees’ access to care by providing critical services at a time and place that’s convenient for hard-working people.”

Following the model from the employee health center at Precision Valve Automation in Cohoes, CDTA is one of several organization in in the Capital Region to offer a service like this to its employees.
