ALBANY, N.Y. – June 15, 2021 – Registration is now open for the 2021 CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge, set for Thursday, August 26 at 5 p.m. at the Altamont Fairgrounds. Registration fees are $25 for in-person or $15 for virtual attendees. Individuals and groups who would like to participate virtually are welcome to complete a 3.5 mile run at a time and location of their choosing.
Each year, the CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge serves as an important fundraiser for local not-for-profits, designated as the race’s Charities of Choice. Local not-for-profits IPH (Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless), The RED Bookshelf, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region have been retained from 2020 and will receive important funds from the race. Teams and individuals are encouraged to make additional gift donations during registration, as these not-for-profit organizations continue to feel the devastating financial effects of the pandemic.
As previously announced, additional safety measures are as follows for in-person participation and are subject to change based on updated guidance from New York State:

Participants must bring their own water – there will be limited water stops on the course

Mask wearing when social distancing is not possible
The registration deadline is Saturday, July 31 or 5,000 in-person participants, whichever comes first.
