CDPHP, Community Care Physicians Provide Convenient, Onsite Pharmacy for Local Patients

ALBANY, N.Y. – August 30, 2022 – CDPHP and Community Care Physicians today announced the opening of the third ConnectRx retail pharmacy within the Capital Region Health Park in Latham, NY.
Conveniently located on Troy-Schenectady Road in Latham, the pharmacy is a one-stop shop for patients, who can receive medical care and quickly and easily fill prescriptions or obtain over-the-counter medications before they even exit the building.
“The opening of ConnectRx within the Capital Region Health Park further enhances our partnership with Community Care Physicians by bringing the convenience of an onsite pharmacy to the patients who are visiting their doctor’s office or urgent care,” said John D. Bennett, MD, president and CEO of CDPHP. “One of our ultimate goals has always been to make health care more easily accessible to all, and this is yet another example of that commitment.”

ConnectRx will relocate along with Community Care Physicians and CDPHP to Wellness Way in early 2024, to complement the medical services that will be available in the new state-of-the-art facility. This is another important step in the CDPHP desire to build a truly integrated health care delivery system within the Capital Region and beyond, where the patient experience is seamless between their health plan, doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and more.
