ALBANY, N.Y. – April 17, 2023 – CDPHP and the Hudson-Mohawk Road Runners Club (HMRRC) are reminding all interested participants that registration for the CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge will close two weeks from today, on Monday, May 1 at 11:59 p.m. This year’s race is on Thursday, May 18 at 6:25 p.m. Registration is $30 for all attendees, in person and virtual.
Local not-for-profit Rotterdam Community Center in Rotterdam will receive important funds from this year’s race. The center’s Bread of Life Food Pantry currently operates three times per month. With financial support from the 2023 CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge, the pantry will seek to operate weekly as demand has significantly increased because of skyrocketing food prices.
CDPHP and HMRRC are also encouraging participants to stay downtown and support Albany’s restaurants and shops after the race. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate a successful CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge with colleagues and friends!
The CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge is organized by and serves as a significant fundraiser for HMRRC. In addition to raising funds for local charities, the race also helps to fund HMRRCs college scholarships, grants, and free race programs for local youth.
