New electric bikes will highlight the start of the season
ALBANY, NY (June 15, 2023) CDTA and CDPHP are excited to announce that season 7 of CDPHP Cycle! will officially begin this weekend! We’ve made several innovative and important improvements to make this season our best yet, including the addition of electric bikes (e-bikes) and upgrades to our pedal bike technology.
Starting this weekend, customers will be able to rent the newest addition to the fleet, e-bikes, in Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Saratoga, Cohoes, and Lake George.
Visit our brand-new website www.cdphpcycle.org and download our brand-new app (available on the App Store and Google Play) to view rental locations and membership options. Seasonal memberships are prorated this season to make up for the delayed start.
Pedal bikes are undergoing technology improvements and will be available to the community in July. Stay tuned to our social media channels for the latest riding information.
We will keep the bikes out as long as possible this season, weather permitting, and CDPHP Cycle! will hit the road in April 2024.
The new e-bikes, as well as the technology and software that run the system, are now provided by Drop Mobility. The on-ground operations and maintenance of the bike fleet are performed by Shared Mobility, Inc.
