ALBANY, NY – January 21, 2026 – CDPHP and St. Peter’s Health Partners (SPHP) are pleased to announce that the health plan and the health care system have reached an agreement in principle that guarantees CDPHP members continued access to care with St. Peter’s Health Partners’ providers and facilities.

Throughout this process, our priority has been clear: protecting access to high‑quality care for the individuals, families, and employers who rely on us,” said Barry Thornton, CEO, CDPHP. “This agreement ensures that patients can continue seeing the doctors and utilizing the hospital services they trust, without interruption. I’m grateful to everyone who worked tirelessly to reach this resolution and we at CDPHP remain committed to delivering the exceptional service our community deserves.”
“In today’s healthcare environment, it is critically important that payers and providers collaborate on behalf of our patients,” said Steven Hanks, MD, president and CEO of SPHP. “Our goal has always been to come to a resolution that allows SPHP and CDPHP to continue to meet the needs of our patients, today and into the future.
